These folks are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside and it was such a joy to photograph this darling family! Whitney is an incredibly talented designer and event coordinator and anytime I get to spend time with her she just radiates joy. I am thankful to have had the chance to photograph these three and even more thankful to call them friends.

This beautiful couple and their three precious babies (yes, there are three babies in that bump!) are a testimony to God's grace and faithfulness. Desiree and Ryan have waited so long and prayed so hard for these precious little ones. Desiree writes eloquently of their journey through infertility on her blog - Our Journey to Parenthood. Her grace, honesty, and faith are so beautiful and these three babies are so incredibly blessed to have Ryan and Des for their parents. Plus, they are some of the best secret keepers out there! They told their family they were having twins and didn't tell them that they were having TRIPLETS until their gender reveal party!!! Is that the greatest surprise ever or what? I've been mulling over shooting film (in addition to digital photos) for years. I love how film looks, the process, the thought that goes into each photo, the colors, the grain, the connection to the past ... I love it all. After documenting my personal family photos on film for a few months, this was my first family session shot entirely on film. I can't thank the Kent family enough for welcoming me into their home to document their family on a normal Saturday morning. They are beauty and kindness in family form.
